Job Title: Human Resource Genralist


JOB OBJECTIVE

This role is responsible to assist in the creation and leading of HR practices and objectives that will provide employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goals attainment, and the recruitment and on-going development of a superior workforce. This role also provides advice, assistance and follows up on company policies, procedures and documentation.


EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • ● Manage all employee and employer related issues and ensures no litigation or any such associated issues to VDT
  • ● Assist Head, HR in managing all disciplinary and grievance issues for complete resolution
  • ● To ensure an atmosphere of cordiality and effective conflict management process

TALENT MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • ● Assist in the design, deployment and implementation of all organizational change projects.
  • ● Support in the designing and facilitating various intervention in line with people
  • ● Assist in the implementation of learning and development strategy of the organization in line with business objectives
  • ● Support in conducting talent reviews
  • ● Monitor PMS and cycle and assist in ensuring attainment of corporate performance dashboard
  • ● Conduct on-boarding and integration/induction of new employee
  • ● Ensure adequate and effective policies, procedures and programme framework for HR service delivery

TALENT PLANNING AND ACQUISITION

  • ● Support in developing an effective manpower and employee related issues and ensure no litigation of any such associated to VDT
  • ● Support in determining critical profiles based on business requirement
  • ● Based on manpower plan, identify recruitment needs and supports in the design of effective programme for selection and retention
  • ● Continually provide innovative ways to project the image of VDT as employer of choice via all media and special focus on social media
  • ● Assist in maintaining headcount as per manpower plan

EMPLOYEE COMPENATION AND BENEFIT

  • ● Support in conducting periodic employee cost forecasting and annual budgetary management ensuring cost savings for VDT
  • ● Assist in the implementation of pay structure design and maintain structure to ensure equity and internal parity of compensation for all employees
  • ● Support in providing required input for payroll management
  • ● Support in implementing and maintaining group life, medical scheme and requirements of workmen compensation act as stipulated within regulatory framework
  • ● Assist in conducting compensation surveys and provide benchmarking data to aid compensation strategy

TRAINING

  • ● To deploy and implement all learning intervention models such as Job shadowing, job relief, job evaluation, etc.
  • ● Prepare functional training budgets as required by organizational planning
  • ● Design training courses and programs necessary to meet training needs, or manage this activity via external providers.
  • ● Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
  • ● Be responsible for talent development management to ensure a high quality succession pipeline at all levels
  • ● Prepare assessment for relevant learning needs of staff and organization, in consultation with departmental heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed.
  • ● Assist in all the processes involved in managing regulatory bodies and their relationship management.

EMPLOYEE SERVICES AND ADMINISTRATION

  • ● Manage employee leave administration
  • ● Ensure effective employee record management and adherence to date privacy laws
  • ● Assist in maintaining the process of employee loans/3rd party relations ensuring zero exposure to VDT
  • ● Ensure remittance to appropriate pension institution as provided by employee and management of data and process
  • ● Coordinates relationships with service provider on all benefits and incentives schemes and ensure best practices
  • ● Assist in developing processes to ensure effective education and training of staff on safety and health measures
  • ● Support in developing the processes aimed at reducing exposure to work place hazards
  • ● Facilitate employee health awareness programmes
  • ● Support in organizing employee activities geared towards enhancing work life balance

HR ANALYTICS AND REPORT

  • ● Ensure the integrity of HR data
  • ● Provide HR data to support organizational strategy
  • ● Conducts trends and analysis on workforce/HR Metrics and provide meaningful data to aid business decisions
  • ● Support in continual review HR processes and workflows to ensure business efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • ● A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • ● A professional qualification of CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM
  • ● Minimum of 5 years in HR generalist Role
